Open Studios 2004
For two days in October in San Francisco, I opened
up and closed my basement studio of the last two
years. It was a fitting goodbye to a space that
served me well, letting me expand my work and
make a huge mess on the concrete floor. Over 200
people visited the studio, seeing the 103-piece
Distraction up for the first time. I sold 28 pieces,
including most of the black and white boxes, the
large 2 panel black and white piece, a duct tape
painting -- Dismantled Flag -- and A Hot Foot
in Cool Waters. Click on the images below to take
yourself through a little slideshow of the event. |
