What's New at Bluestninja? (May) Edition
Spring is blowing its wind through the Bay Area. And your
humble bluestninja is blowing his hot air right along with
it. So let's just get right to it, shall we?

1. Custom Pinback Buttons from Bluestninja
Buttons
The newest foray in DIY junkets for the masses. Already
having created them for myself, Misnoninja (clothing line
extraordinaire), and Thee More Shallows (band of utmost talent
from SF), I'm taking orders for grab bags of my own designs
and images I think you should pin to your clothes (as low
as a couple bucks!), as well as orders for logos of your company,
name, projects, bands, slogans, stupidity, etc. Send an email
to buttons@bluestninja.com for a price list, to put in an
order, or just to get more information.
2.
Organic Black and White Series
Amazing what a whole bunch of cardboard boxes and numerous
bottles of black acrylic paint can do to a boy. These are
cheap and would look lovely on your living room wall. Or in
the bathroom. Or as coasters.
3. Artist
Xchange Gallery Open
Thanks to everyone who came out to the grand opening event
on May 1. I've sold a piece out of there already and many
more are to follow, I'm sure. If you're in the SF grid, stroll
the Valencia Corridor and head into the gallery on 16th St
(between Valencia and Guerrero). Check their site for store
hours.
4.
Needlepoint in Auction at Canvas Gallery
In coordination with Artspan and Open Studios, Canvas Gallery
will be hosting an auction on May 25, 2004. My needlepoint
"He Stands on the Threshold" will be up for auction so come
and bid high and often. Otherwise I'll have to have to cry
in public. Again.
5. Pagoda
Sold
The wonderful worldy duo of Karen Pak and Charlie Oppenheimer
have purchased "Pagoda." For now, it graces their Reno home
but as we all know (and those who don't, should know) it will
soon be back in the Bay Area as they will hopefully be soon.
That is all. That is long. That is enough.
Until Gigantic June, where new and wonderful nuggets are
already in the works.
Cheers to all and to all a good night (except you in Australia
-- good morning to you.)
